St. Petersburg, Fla. The St. Petersburg Museum of History is getting a little bit spookier this Halloween after turning its gallery into a “Creepatorium”.
Over the years, the museum has had fun with the different artifacts that they have found in their inventory. A collection ranging from a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy to a two-headed calf can all be found in what is called their Odditorium Gallery.
For the month of October, visitors can see the eerie additions to the museum including the creepy doll exhibit. This display consists of a collection of dolls from the early 1800s to the mid-1900s with features such as sleeping eyes, toothy grins and ventriloquist mouths.
Every Friday until October 30th the museum is extending their hours until 7 p.m. Normal business hours remain 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Creepatorium: The St. Petersburg Museum of History has already been having fun with its quirky and kind of creepy collection of things like a 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy and a two-headed calf in what it calls its Odditorium Gallery. Some depict real-world characters such as Charlie Chaplin, complete with a real hat and cane. Others have eerie features such as sleeping eyes, toothy grins and ventriloquist mouths. The museum is keeping the doors open for extra hours until 7 p.m. every Friday through Oct. 30.
