WFTS ABC Action News

WFTS-TV, virtual channel 28, branded as ABC Action News, is an ABC-affiliated television station licensed to Tampa, Florida, United States and serving the Tampa Bay area. Owned by the E. W. Scripps Company, it is part of a duopoly with Bradenton-licensed Ion Television owned-and-operated station WXPX-TV.

During my time here, I worked and operated multiple production roles which include teleprompter and microwave operator as well as floor director. Beyond my duties in this position, I worked collaboratively with reporters producers, and news directors during editorial meetings and show assignments.
